 Testimonials

I am very happy that I chose to have a procedure at Biltmore Surgical with Dr. Alexander.

The doctor and his staff treated me excellently. They paid attention to my comfort level throughout the procedure. The doctor was very thorough in his approach and carefully planned the procedure to give me the best results. He did not rush through any important steps. To the doctor, doing the procedure correctly and with precision is the most important thing, not getting done in a hurry. He and his staff take the time to do it right.

Thank you all again. I’m doing very well and excitedly waiting to see my results “come in”.

God Bless,

Bobby

Having previously experienced a hair transplant procedure from a nationally known company, I can tell you that the experience I had with Dr. Scott Alexander and his staff was far superior to my first experience.

Their attention to detail, comfort and overall satisfaction was by far heads above the competition.

I recommend anyone interested in having hair restoration, consult with Dr. Alexander first before making a final decision.

Regards,

Dave

Dear Dr. Alexander:

It gives me great pleasure to write this note to let you know how much I am enjoying my new hair transplant from you!

A couple years ago, I got my 1st transplant from a well-known, well-advertised company.  Although I had done moderate research, little did I know that I would have to have several procedures in order to accomplish a complete look.  When I think back to the first procedure, I was quite surprised at the amount of swelling I incurred, and not to discount the fact that both my eyes were also blackened.  I was given a substantial amount of pain medication to combat these conditions.  When my hair began to come in I again was quite surprised that it wasn’t as thick as I had been lead to believe.  I was not given full disclosure that I would need several procedures done when I got the original transplant.

Because I felt that I had been deceived, I began to conduct a more thorough search hoping for a better solution.  I found that with Biltmore Hair Restoration.

When I went in for consultation, Dr. Alexander gave me a complete diagnosis as to what would need to be done in order to completely satisfy me.  He took a lot of time to explain the procedure that he would do.  I felt completely confident that Dr. Alexander would achieve the results I was longing for.

When the day came for the procedure, Dr. Alexander took his time to make sure that he was placing the grafts very close together.  It took him over 8 hours, where in my first procedure the doctor took less than 1 hour.  With Dr. Alexander, I experienced no pain, a much better quality result, all while costing me less than half in comparison to my first procedure.  I have received so many compliments from professional hair dressers and barbers who have said it is the best transplant they have ever seen.  I’m asked all the time what have I done differently because I look so much younger.

I tell everyone I meet that if they are interested in getting the best transplant in the world, to go to Biltmore Hair Restoration.  There is no better place to get the care one is looking for along with excellent quality at an affordable price.

Dr. Alexander is the best!  I am truly blessed that I found Biltmore Hair Restoration!

Sincerely,

Wesley

I am a 62 year old male that experienced thinning hair and hair loss in the frontal area of my head.  In December of 2004 I made the decision to have Dr. Scott Alexander solve my problem.  Obviously I did a lot of investigating before embarking on this important surgery.  It is a SURGERY and that is the number one reason I selected Dr. Alexander.  If someone was going to make over 2000 incisions in my head I wanted it to be a veteran surgeon. The results have been fantastic.  In fact I have recommended Biltmore Surgical to all of my friends and at least five of them are now very satisfied patients of Dr. Alexander.

He is thoughtful, concerned, and most importantly he is a gifted surgeon. I recommend him without reservation.

As an owner of one of the largest hair salons in Scottsdale I have seen and worked with numerous clients who've had hair replacement surgery. When I finally came to terms with the fact that I couldn't deal with my own hair loss any longer I chose the doctor who impressed me the most. Dr. Alexander's work spoke for itself. The results were the most natural I have ever seen.

I can honestly say that my life and my attitude have changed wince my surgery with Dr. Alexander. My advice to anyone male or female who is struggling with hair loss is to give Dr. Alexander a call.

As a child I had thick, thick hair. My Mom used to comment on the fact that the braids were so fat she could hardly get the rubber band around them. At the age of 17-18 I began to notice a lot of shedding. After a shower or brushing my hair it was all over the place.
As I progressed into my 20's and 30's it was noticeable to me that my hair was quite a bit thinner. I transitioned into a short hair cut and parted on the side. However, it still wasn't bad. I noticed, but not sure others did.
As I got closer to 40, I noticed the hair loss seemed to be progressing. I had thick sides and back but the top was getting noticeably thinner in my opinion. I began searching for hair loss solutions. I knew there were topical solutions (which I used with some success) but I wanted a permanent solution. Therefore, in doing my research for a hair transplant, I came across Dr. Scott Alexander.
I had had minimal cosmetic procedures in the past (mini eye lift and jowl lift) and I knew the importance of getting the best when it came to doctors in cosmetic surgery therefore, I was researching the best in hair transplantation.
My search kept bringing me back to Dr. Scott Alexander. Because I live out of the state of AZ I thought this would be a problem. Turns out, the consultation was free, as well as thorough, and at the time (2007) I was able to catch a 39.00 Southwest flight there and back from NM.
I was so impressed with Dr. A, his knowledge, explanation, results, procedure and staff, that I immediately scheduled my first transplant for Dec. 2007. Several things are worth mentioning: the cost and financing were very reasonable and the procedure itself was actually "pleasant" (the pain was efficiently and effectively managed both during and after; I actually fell asleep for a while; watched a couple of movies; was treated to a delicious lunch and felt very cared for by the attentive staff).
I had the front and top transplanted. Dr. A began by taking a graft of skin with the hair follicles from the back of my head and stitched up the graft site.
Second, while his technicians separated the grafts one by one (I had 2200 grafts), Dr. A began making the minute incisions in my scalp where the follicles would then be inserted.
Lastly, the grafts were put in the incision sites. In 3 months the results started coming in! I did get nauseated after the procedure because I am sensitive after a while to the Lidocaine used to numb the scalp but I also tend to require more than most. Also, the graft sight on the back of my head was a bit painful for the first 3-5 days but was managed well with Tylenol or pain meds.
I recommend taking the antibiotic to keep away any infection. Sleep is difficult for a couple of days, but sleeping upright helps tremendously, both with comfort and with swelling.
Your head feels "tight" until the stitches come out 7 days later. By 6-9 months I was so pleased. The results were so good that I ended up having to schedule another appointment to have my crown done to match the thickness of the rest of my hair.
So in Dec. 2009 I had the crown done and am 3 months out from that procedure. The second time around I had more shock loss than the first procedure but it quickly came back and minoxidil helped.
Both times I received a travel package as well that really helped out with expenses. Dr. A and his staff are extremely willing to work with their patients on all levels and I don't think you could fine a better, more qualified doctor, staff and procedure.
A few months prior to my second transplant my boss had a transplant done by the company who is most noted for hair loss transplants but his results were definitely not as good as mine.
Dr. A does the dense packing method and uses such a fine blade that there was no scaring at the follicular site and the scar from the graft sight was virtually unnoticeable. My hairdresser couldn't even find it!
I am a twice satisfied patient of Dr. Alexander and highly recommend him to any one, looking for a permanent solution.

Personally, my worries about having to wear a wig at the age of 43 have all but gone away...permanently :)

Thank you Biltmore Hair Restoration!
